"Cruelty to Innocents" by CK Webb and DJ Weaver - Review By Bob Moats on June 11, 2011
I have known CK Webb and DJ Weaver online for over a year, and I have been waiting
for this book to come out as it is their debut novel. I purchased the book and
sat back to read.

The first few chapters were a bit much to me, mostly about back story of the
characters, but once it got into the action, I was impressed. Okay, I usually
try to figure out who the criminals are and I have to say I was partially right.
The ending was well executed and had a surprise twist that I won't mention so
not to spoil your fun. The book was well written and the plot went along easily
to the end. One thing I must mention, if you are easily upset about children
being kidnapped and brutalized, this book will make you squeamish and force you
to think about the possibilities that this could happen to your children. Have
tissues handy.
However it has a heart and a feel good ending when the bad guys are stopped (can
you say sequel?). Definitely worth the read, and it's the first book in this
series, so watch for the next. The book can be found at Smashwords at
